Henjes, Conner & Williams, PC is seeking a payroll and bookkeeping specialist with a two- or four-year degree (or equivalent experience) to join our team. Pay and Benefits:

Hourly pay of $18-25 per hour based on experience.  We offer competitive benefit programs including health, life and disability insurance, 401(k) and profit-sharing plan, cafeteria plan, and paid vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare periodic payrolls, payroll tax and sales tax returns
• Perform general monthly and quarterly bookkeeping
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Perform sales tax and payroll tax research

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent experience)
• Two or more years experience in payroll preparation and general ledger preferred
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Outstanding attention to detail
• High moral and ethical standards
• Takes ownership and pride in their work
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Ability to research complex payroll and sales tax issues is a plus
